I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire is getting an anime adaptation in April 2025. Studio Quad will be in charge of the animation, and they revealed the first visual, trailer, cast and staff members.
Natsuki Hanae will lead the cast as the protagonist Liam, with Reina Ueda voicing Amagi and Takehito Koyasu voicing Guide. You can see the teaser visual for the anime below.

Yomu Mishima writes the I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire (Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoshu!) light novel, which features illustrations by Nadare Takamine. It originally began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in August 2018, while Overlap acquired it in July 2020 and began publishing it in print. There is also a manga adaptation by Kai Nadashima. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the both the light novel and manga in English.
The story follows Liam, a once hardworking boy who gets reborn as a noble on another planet. He’s determined not to face betrayal again and focuses only on himself, but his new subjects seem to appreciate his attitude.
Studio Quad is also working on the NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita anime, which will premiere in January 2025.
