The popular crossover anime series Isekai Quartet is officially returning for a Season 3, with The Eminence in Shadow joining. Following the successful broadcast of its first and second seasons, as well as the theatrical film released two years ago, production for Isekai Quartet 3 has now been confirmed. Along with the announcement, a teaser visual was also revealed.
Isekai Quartet Season 3 Brings a New Addition – Shadow
Season 3 will introduce a new addition to the cast: Cid Kageno, also known as Shadow, from The Eminence in Shadow. In the teaser visual, Cid is shown playing the piano, and you can check it out below.

- Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord
- Tappei Nagatsuki’s Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World
- Natsume Akatsuki’s Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!
Season 1 of the anime ran for 12 episodes from April to June, 2019. The Rising of the Shield Hero by Aneko Yusagi joined the anime for Season 2, which also ran for 12 episodes from January to April, 2020. The movie was released on June 10, 2022.
