Jinwoo Fights Baran in New Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 8 Pick Up Battle Video

Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- revealed a new pick up battle video after Episode 8 finished broadcasting in Japan, featuring Jinwoo facing the Demon King Baran. The new S-Hunter has finally conquered the Demon Castle, which he needed to do in order to make the Elixir of Life for his mother. In addition, the voice cast for Ryuji Goto and Esil Radiru was also revealed.

The anime is based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, which was adapted by h-goon. The story follows the world’s ‘weakest hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, as he gets a way to level up in a world where it is otherwise impossible. A special breaking news segment was also released after last week’s episode to announce Jinwoo as the newest S-Rank hunter, after which he went into the Demon Castle again to finally complete it.

Solo Leveling was previously also voted the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our Winter 2024 Anime Awards.The second season was then voted as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025 this season. It placed second in our latest weekly ranking, with only Re:ZERO Season 3 above it.
