Kaiju No. 8 anime revealed a preview for episode 2, slated to air on Saturday, April 20. Last week’s premiere did an amazing job of setting the stage and it seems like we’re in for a wild ride with many action scenes.

Kafka and Reno flee the hospital and look for a way out. They stumble upon parent and a child who are getting attacked by a monster and decide to get invovled.
As previously announced, the episode will have a simultaneous broadcast at 7 am PDT on Crunchyroll. In you case miss this, it will be available at 8:30 am PDT to stream, like any other title.
Production I.G is animating the adaptation with Tomomi Kamiya and Shigeyuki Miya as directors. Ichiro Okuchi is in charge of the series composition. Tetsuya Nishio is the character designer, while Mahiro Maeda and Khara Studio are signing off on creature designs. Theme songs include “Abyss” by YUNGBLUD and Imagine Dragons and “Nobody” by One Republic – which was featured in the first episode.
