Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc Anime Reveals New Trailer, Cast, Theme Songs Information

The upcoming Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc anime by Production I.G revealed a new trailer, along with additional cast members and information on the theme songs. The opening theme is “LOVE & JUSTICE” by Yasuharu Takanashi×FLOW, and you can hear a preview in the new trailer.

Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc – New Anime Trailer Featuring Opening Theme song

Episode 0 will have a special opening song titled “Kinnikuman Go Fight!!” performed by Kinnikuman (voiced by Mamoru Miyano). Both of the opening songs have lyrics written by Yukinojo Mori. Mamoru Miyano will also perform the ending theme song “Chojin.” The additional cast members include:

Mamoru Miyano is voicing Kinnikuman, with Akira Kamiya (who was the original Kinnikuman) voicing both Mayumi Kinniku and Prince Kamehame. The rest of the previously announced cast includes:

The staff consists of Akira Sato as the director, Makoto Fukami in charge of the series composition, Hirotaka Marufuji as the character designer, and Yasuharu Takanashi in charge of the music.

Kinnikuman is a Japanese manga series created by Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada, also known as Yudetamago. It was originally published by Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1979 to 1987 before restarting publication in 2011 in Shuiesha’s Shu Play news web magazine.

There is also a sequel, the Kinnikuman: The 2nd Generation (known as Ultimate Muscle outside Japan) manga that was serialized in Weekly Playboy between 1998 and 2004. It was also adapted into three different television series, all of which were broadcast on TV Tokyo in Japan and released in North America by 4Kids Entertainment. The original Kinnikuman anime series was produced by Toei Animation and aired from 1983 to 1986 for a total of 137 episodes.
