The upcoming Laid-Back Camp (Yuru Camp) movie revealed a special Nadeshiko visual, along with a new commercial (CM) that features the scenes from the series. The Laid-Back Camp movie opens in Japan this summer, as announced in October 2021.
Studio C-Station is animating, with Yoshiaki Kyougoku as the director. Both the studio and the director worked on TV anime. Mutsumi Sasaki is once again in charge of character designs, with Mutsumi Ito and Jin Tanaka on the screenplay. Tanaka also worked on the anime, while Ito did the series composition for Room Camp (Heya Camp) side-story.
Laid-Back Camp is based on a slice-of-life manga by Afro. The manga started serialization in 2015 and it currently has 12 volumes. Yen Press is licensing the manga in English. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in the Winter 2018 season, while the second followed in Winter of 2021. Crunchyroll co-financed the anime and also streamed it.
