Loner Life in Another World anime revealed the second main trailer and key visual, as well as 6 additional cast members. Studios Passione and Hayabusa Film are working on the animation, with the release date set for October 3. HIDIVE will be streaming it with English subtitles from September 26 in North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
The new trailer introduces the ending theme song “Hello to Goodbye” by Kujiragi, and it also features the opening “ODD NUMBER” by Yoshino. The opening was also featured in the first main trailer.
The new cast members include:
- Saori Hayami as Angelica
- Aguri Onishi as Merielle
- Shota Hayama as Tanaka
- Shohei Yamaguchi as Gatek
- Atsushi Imaruoka as Ofter
- Tetsu Inada as Guild Boss

Angelika and Merielle are also present on the new key visual, along with the previously announced main cast.
Shoji Goji writes Loner Life in Another World, which began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2016. Overlap began publishing it in print with illustrations by Boota in 2018, while Saku Enokimaru took over for illustrations after the first 2 volumes. There is also a manga adaptation by Bibi in the Comic Gardo magazine, which Kaiten Books licensed in English.
The story follows Haruka, who missed out on the power selection in his new world and ended up with leftover abilities that his classmates refused to take. However, as luck would have it, they end up relying on the underpowered MC, and he will have trouble living his loner life.
