Season 2 of the Chinese animated series (donghua) of the hit web novel Lord of Mysteries revealed a new trailer ahead of its 2027 release. Animated by B.CMay PICTURES, the first season of the animated series is available on Crunchyroll. It includes dubs in English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Previously, a massive 10-year plan spanning seven seasons and a movie was confirmed.

The original novel was serialized on Qidian from 2018 to 2020 and has since become a fan-favorite, with many praising it for its world-building and philosophy. Following the success of the first book, a sequel series, Lord of Mysteries 2: Circle of Inevitability, began with a focus on a new protagonist, Lumian Lee.
A mobile RPG developed with Unreal Engine 5 was also confirmed to be in production last year.
