Luffy Plays Basketball Against the Navy in New One Piece x The Lakers Short Anime

ONE PIECE x Los Angeles Lakers collab was marked with a short anime, which featured Luffy playing basketball against the Navy. Luffy sports a Lakers journey and shows off his stretching abilities as he makes a basket despite a much bigger Navy team. This followed the earlier announcement of the collab, which featured visuals of Luffy and one of him alongside the entire Straw Hat Pirates crew.

The video was released on on February 28, the night of the Lakers’ NBA game against the Los Angeles Clippers, which the Lakers won with a score of 106:102.
