ME & ROBOCO: The Movie revealed a new ‘multiverse’ visual, along with additional voice cast members and a teaser trailer. The cast additions veterans Shigeru Chiba (Kazuma in Yu Yu Hakusho, Buggy in ONE PIECE, Jogo in JUJUTSU KAISEN) and Masako Nozawa (Goku in Dragon Ball), along with the younger Sumire Uesaka. The movie will premiere on April 18, 2025.
Their roles include:
- Shigeru Chiba – Sci-Fi Roboco
- Masako Nozawa – Showa-Era Gag Manga Roboco
- Sumire Uesaka – Romantic Comedy Roboco
The voice cast previously added Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy in ONE PIECE) as a Luffy-like Roboco called the Classic Battle Worldline. You can see the new visual starring all those versions of Roboco below.

ME & ROBOCO is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Shuhei Miyazaki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 2020, with VIZ Media publishing it digitally in English. Studio Gallop animated the first anime series, which ran for 28 short (~3 minute each) episodes from December 2022 to June 2023. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
Studio Gallop is also animating ME & ROBOCO. The main staff is all returning for the movie, including Akitaro Daichi as the director, Sayuru Oba in charge of the series composition, Yuko Ebara as the character designer, with Jun Abe and Seiji Muto composing the music.
