Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms anime revealed a new trailer featuring the theme songs. The opening is “VORTEX” by Setsuko (from Kuhaku Gokko). Hiroyuki Sawano produced, composed, and arranged the song, while Benjamin + cAnON are credited for the lyrics. The ending is “karma,” also by Setsuko (Kuhaku Gokko) and Hiroyuki Sawano. SennaRin wrote the lyrics.
TriF Studio is animating the series under the direction of the original creator Sae Okamoto. The anime is set to premiere in October 2024. The staff includes:

The story revolves around Hikaru, an ordinary junior high school boy, and Alma, a “Mecha-Ude,” a mechanical life form that can combine with humans, as they embark on adventures and battles. The cast consists of:

- Yu Shimamura as Aki
- Kaito Ishikawa as Sinis & Dex
- Romi Park as Kagami
- Amatsuki as Tohdoh
- Hiroki Touchi as Aljis

- Yoko Hikasa as Amaryllis
Mecha-Ude is an original animation created and directed by Okamoto, who is a member of the TriF Studio. She also directed the 2018 short with TriF, which consists of students and volunteers in Fukuoka, after a crowdfunding campaign, which got nearly $67,000 in less than 2 months. Eve performed the opening theme song for the short – “Ambivalent” and AZLiGHTZ performed the ending theme “Alone”.
