Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama now has his own character trailer, published ahead of October 5 premiere for Mob Psycho 100 III. Mob, who is also known as White-T Poison, is the esper protagonist of the series, created by ONE. The trailer was set to be released at 18:00 JST but was slightly delayed.
Teru, Ritsu, Ekubo, and Reigen previously received their trailers and this one was announced by Setsuo Ito, who voices Mob in the original Japanese version:
In the English dub, Mob is voiced by Kyle McCarley, who yesterday uploaded a video talking about possibly not returning for the third season of the anime. McCarley stated that he wanted to work under a SAG-AFTRA union contract but that Crunchyroll would not agree to those conditions. The voice actor also added that he trying to negotiate the possibility of future contracts under SAG-AFTRA but that right now it does not seem likely to happen.
Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 will be directed by Takahiro Hasui and animated by studio BONES. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of series composition, with Yoshimichi Kameda once again doing character designs. Kenji Kawai is composing the music. According to studio Bones president Masahiko Minami, this season won’t contain CGI and will be entirely hand-drawn. The opening theme song for this season is “1” by MOB CHOIR.
