Chainsaw Man

Easily the most hyped anime coming in Fall 2022, Chainsaw Man will surely catch a lot of attention next season. Studio MAPPA is in charge of the production, and you the latest trailer took less than a day to hit 11 million views! Check it out below:

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. 
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War

The 2022 BLEACH anime titled BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is yet another hyped Fall 2022 show, coming over 10 years since the original anime ended. Studio Pierrot is returning to produce it, and it will run over 4 cours (~48-52 episodes). You can watch the latest trailer:

My Hero Academia Season 6

Yet another hyped shonen anime coming to Fall 2022, My Hero Academia is going into the Paranormal Liberation War arc in season 6. Studio Bones is producing once again, and you can watch the latest trailer:

Fushi’s journey continues in To Your Eternity Season 2, and it’s certainly another anime worth being hyped for in Fall 2022. Studio Drive is in charge of the production, taking over from the first season’s studio Brain’s Base. Watch the latest trailer:

In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.

The first and only non-continuation Fall 2022 anime on this list, The Eminence in Shadow already has many hyped for it just based on the trailers and premise. Studio Nexus is in charge of the production, and you can watch the latest trailer:

There are no international streaming details yet. Yen Press licensed the original The Eminence in Shadow light novel series in English, and they describe the story:

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 is a hyped Fall 2022 anime that fans didn’t have to wait too long for as the 2nd season ended only a year ago in September. Golden Kamuy Season 4 is probably the most underrated hyped anime of Fall 2022, with its 4th season coming almost 2 years after the 3rd. Studio Brain’s Base is taking over from Geno Studio, which produced the first 3 seasons, and you can watch the latest trailer:
