Mushoku Tensei released episode 7 this Sunday, and we got a glimpse of something serious that might happen soon. That happened in the end though, and the rest of the episode was very light hearted in comparison. It started off with a cool training scene between Ghislaine and Eris, while Rudy was quietly watching from the side. The tsundere is improving considerably in her swordsmanship, though Rudy seems to be a bit slower.
We got to see that time has not dulled Rudy’s worshipping of Roxy. He still creates detailed figures of her and admires them, though he also sold one. It somehow got into the hands of the prince Roxy is currently teaching, though she doesn’t know who made it. Additionally, she wrote an entire textbook to help Rudy learn the Demon-God language he was having trouble with.
The main part of the episode was the build up for the dance on Eris’ birthday. Rudy tried to help but in the end she fell at the actual event with some random noble. Then Rudy somehow made her think of it as fighting/dodging feints and it worked magically. They impressed everyone and girls flocked to Rudy afterwards.
We also re-affirmed the love of Greyrats towards beastmen. Both the father and grandfather showed it, and especially the latter. The final scene showed an eerie looking thing in the sky, and grandpa seems to have no idea what it is.
Better to think it’s not a bad thing
