Director: Keisuke Shinohara

Fukuda-sensei, congratulations on completing the serialization of KiseKoi!

I still can’t believe that KiseKoi is coming to an end.
It feels so lonely.

Through this series, I have received so much.
It’s sad that we won’t be able to see the continuation of Gojo-kun and Marin-chan’s story, but I will make sure to send them off properly.

With my eyes set on Fukuda-sensei’s broad back, I will continue to give my best in the anime production as well.

Series Composition & Script: Yoriko Tomita

Fukuda-sensei,
Congratulations on completing the serialization of KiseKoi…!

I still vividly remember the first time I read the manga.
I was instantly captivated by Marin’s expression on Page 64 of Volume 2.
It felt like the very moment the second hand of her heart began to move towards her love for Wakana.
Even now, that might still be my favorite scene in the entire series.

Every time I read KiseKoi,
Marin’s pure enjoyment of the things she loves gave me energy,
and cheering on Wakana as he poured his heart into making clothes always inspired me.

I truly enjoyed every single volume…!
I feel incredibly honored to have been able to experience this story.

Will you be taking a well-deserved break for a while?
I’d be thrilled if you’re looking forward to the continuation of the anime!

Hina Suguta (Marin Kitagawa)

Congratulations on the completion of the serialization!

As kids, we love things with all our hearts, but as we grow up, that passion often gets left behind.
KiseKoi reminded me how important it is to cherish the things we love with pure sincerity.
And Marin-chan taught me that it’s okay to express those feelings of love honestly and openly.

So, I want to shout it out right here!
Honestly, just writing this is making me want to cry—it’s that heartbreaking!
That’s how much My Dress-Up Darling means to me. It’s a treasure of my life!!!

Thank you for introducing me to Marin-chan and Gojo-kun!!!

I will give my all to portraying Marin Kitagawa, making sure that her brilliance never fades.
Fukuda-sensei, thank you so much for everything!

Shoya Ishige (Wakana Gojo)

Shinichi Fukuda-sensei,

I can’t express enough gratitude for creating such a wonderful work as KiseKoi,
and for allowing me to be a part of it as the voice of Wakana Gojo.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To me, KiseKoi is not just a story that brings happiness when I read it.
It’s also a work that has helped me through tough times,

and reminded me of what truly matters, pushing me forward with courage.
I am truly grateful to have encountered this series.

I hope that My Dress-Up Darling continues to be loved for many years to come.
I’ll do my best to help make Season 2 a fantastic continuation of this beautiful story.

Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna Inui)

When reading KiseKoi, I always feel like I’m being showered in a sparkling, radiant light—
Marin-chan and the others’ pure passion for the things they love shines so brightly and beautifully.
Even though the story is coming to an end, I believe that their brilliance will continue to shine forever.

Fukuda-sensei, thank you for giving us so many precious moments.
You’ve truly worked so hard—congratulations on completing the serialization…!

That being said, with KiseKoi Season 2 on the way,
there’s still so much more to look forward to!
I can’t wait—yay!

Hina Yomiya (Shinju Inui)

Fukuda-sensei,
Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of KiseKoi.
And congratulations on completing such a long-running serialization—truly, you’ve worked so hard!

Shinju-chan was the very first role I ever passed an audition for.
Being able to take my first steps alongside her in so many ways has been an incredible experience,
and I feel truly blessed for that.

Encountering this series and being able to portray Shinju-chan—
it’s all a treasure that I will cherish forever.

Atsushi Ono (Kaoru Gojo)

Fukuda-sensei, thank you for all your hard work over these many years!

I can only imagine the immense effort and challenges that come with weaving a story for seven whole years.
But through that dedication, KiseKoi was born—a series that has since gained movement, sound, and voice,
reaching beyond the seas and bringing smiles to countless people around the world.
I feel truly honored to have been a part of such a wonderful work.

Please take some time to relax and unwind for a while. ^^
Meanwhile, we are pouring our hearts into bringing Season 2 of the anime to life.

Spira Spica (Season 1 Opening Theme)

Yahho~! This is Mikiha from Spira Spica!

Fukuda Shinichi-sensei, congratulations on completing My Dress-Up Darling! And truly, thank you for all your hard work.

Reading this manga was the first time in my life that I laughed and cried so much.
Gojo-kun and Marin-chan’s words, and seeing everyone grow—I was given courage countless times.

Every time I sing San San Days, so many scenes from the story flood my mind,
filling my heart with a sparkling glow.

I’m so grateful to have met Fukuda-sensei and KiseKoi.
Thank you. I will always love this series!

Akase Akari (Season 1 Ending Theme)

Fukuda-sensei, congratulations on completing My Dress-Up Darling!

Like Gojo-kun, I’ve always only used the word “beautiful” for things I truly found beautiful.
But when I saw Marin-chan wholeheartedly accepting and affirming that perspective instead of rejecting it, I was completely captivated.
She gave me the courage to believe that it’s okay to feel that way.

There are so many ways to love something, and just as many ways to express that love.
To believe in yourself, move forward with determination, and inspire those around you by embodying your passions—
Only someone as wonderful as Fukuda-sensei could bring such a story to life.
As I read KiseKoi, I often recalled the warmth you radiated when we met.

Even though the final chapter has arrived, I have no doubt that My Dress-Up Darling will continue to be a source of courage, strength, and inspiration for many.
That’s just how special this series is.

Being involved through the ending theme and cosplaying as Marin, and getting to witness this story all the way to its conclusion, has been an absolute blessing.
Thank you for creating such a heartwarming masterpiece!
