My Hero Academia Season 7 is currently in the U.A. Traitor Arc of the manga and a big reveal happened in last week’s episode. While most of last week’s episode was rather slow compared to the start of the season with the action between Shigaraki and Star, the current arc will continue this pace for a little before everything gets dialed back up to 11 again!

Kenji Nagasaki returns as the chief director for My Hero Academia Season 7 while Nakayama, who storyboarded past episodes and openings for the series, is working as the director. Yosuke Kuroda reprised his role in handling the series composition, same as Yuki Hayashi as the music composer and Hitomi Odashima and Yoshihiko Umakoshi for the character designs. The rest of the main staff are the following:

  • Art Directors: Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama (Seasons 1-6)
  • Director of Photography: Takashi Sawa (Seasons 1-6)
  • Sound Director: Masafumi Mima (Seasons 1-6)
  • Color Design: Kazuko Kikuchi (Seasons 1-6)
  • Editing: Kumiko Sakamoto (Seasons 1-6)
  • Opening Theme Artist: TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (Tokyo Ghoul opening)
  • Ending Theme Artist: Omoinotake (HoriMiya opening)

The series is releasing a new movie on August 2 titled My Hero Academia: You’re Next with Tensai Okamura working as the director and studio BONES handling the animation production.
