My Hero Academia Season 7 Reveals Preview Images for Episode 17

The preview images for My Hero Academia Season 7 episode 17 were revealed on Thursday. The episode titled “Hopes” will air on Saturday, September 14. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles. Check out the preview images:

Just as the heroes begin to lose hope during the war, some former villains in Gentle Criminal, La Brava, and Lady Nagant step in to steal the show! Thanks to those three, the heroes are able to get back on their feet just in time to continue the main showdowns of the final arc. Will the heroes use this opportunity thanks to the former villains? Or will things continue to crumbe in this week’s episode?

Kenji Nagasaki returned as the chief director for My Hero Academia Season 7 while Naomi Nakayama, who storyboarded past episodes and openings for the series, is working as the director. Yosuke Kuroda reprised his role in handling the series composition, same as Yuki Hayashi as the music composer and Hitomi Odashima and Yoshihiko Umakoshi for the character designs. The rest of the main staff are the following:

  • Director of Photography: Takashi Sawa (Seasons 1-6)
  • Sound Director: Masafumi Mima (Seasons 1-6)
  • Color Design: Kazuko Kikuchi (Seasons 1-6)
  • Editing: Kumiko Sakamoto (Seasons 1-6)
  • Opening Theme Artist: TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (OP1), Yuuri (OP2)
  • Ending Theme Artist: Omoinotake (ED1), Zarame (ED2)

The series My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie will be released in the US on October 11. Tensai Okamura is working as the director with studio BONES handling the animation production. Kenta Miyake, the voice of All Might, will also be voicing the role of the film’s main villain Dark Might. Series creator Kohei Horikoshi will be supervising the project.

My Hero Academia Season 7 episode 17 will be released on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
