A pop-up store featuring Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable merchandise opened in Sapporo, Japan earlier this month from February 2-12 at Sapporo Parco. In January, the shop had a run in Tokyo’s Shibuya Parco department store, but it finally made its way up to Hokkaido where the beloved anime series takes place. I managed to hit up the 7th floor of Sapporo Parco to grab some highly desired Hokkaido Gals merch before the shop closed for its limited run.
The shop was small, but offered the biggest selection of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable merch I’ve seen to date. The anime’s first season is only halfway through its run — the sixth episode just aired this past Tuesday, so it’s nice to already see such high-quality merch featuring the three main female characters of the show.
The Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable pop-up store sold clear file folders, buttons, keychains, and more. My favorite products were the large acrylic stands of each of the girls featuring the same art as the life-size stands pictured above. I instantly put the Minami Fuyuki, my best girl, one into my basket. The shop also sold decorative coffee mugs featuring the characters, perfect for the winter theme. The microfiber towels, tapestries, and tote bags all featured our favorite Hokkaido Gals and seemed like premium pick-ups. Along with my Minami Fuyuki acrylic stand, I got a random tiny acrylic stand pack that had Rena in it. After spending about 3,000 yen, I got a free postcard with my purchase.

While the Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable pop-up shop was quite small and homely, I enjoyed having easy access to so much merch from the show. There’s no word on whether another shop will open up, but I’ll be sure to keep my eyes peeled as the anime continues to air. Be sure to check out my latest reviews on the series here.
