The previously announced anime adaptation of the Nukitashi visual novel revealed the studio and staff information earlier today. Studio Passione (Mieruko-chan, Interspecies Reviewers) will be animating with Nobuyoshi Nagayami (Love Flops, Vampire Dormitory) as the director. The staff also includes:
- Script/Series Composition: Kenta Ihara
- Script Supervision: Naoto Kurahone (Qruppo), Yuu Kamichika (Qruppo)
- Character Designer: Kumata
- Music: Hakushaku Ebikare, Sasa Ikeki, Umigame, Kashiko
- General Supervision: Hamedori-kun (Qruppo)
Ihara is known for titles such as Uncle From Another World, Mieruko-chan, Tomodachi Game, and more. Qruppo developed the original visual novel and published it in Japan.
Nukitashi follows the story of the anti-caponist resistance fighters of No Love No Sex in their fight to bring down the draconian Pervert Law and its sex-crazed proponents on Seiran Island. The chaste Junnosuke Tachibana is the main character. He tries to bring down a tyrannical government of the island, because their policies that allow intercourse anywhere, anytime don’t sit well with his values. The visual novel won Best Scenario—as well as Best New Brand—in 2018’s annual Moe Game Awards. The sequel also won a Grand Award in 2019. In 2022, the game got a manga adaptation. The cast for the visual novel includes:

Studio Passione recently announced that it would be working on the second season of Chained Soldier anime, taking over from Seven Arcs.
