One Piece Anime Reveals Egghead Island Opening by Hiroshi Kitadani and Ending by Maki Otsuki

ONE PIECE anime has revealed the new opening and ending videos for the Egghead Island arc and they are performed by the iconic performers of its very first theme songs, Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki. Hiroshi Kitadani sings the new opening theme song “Aaah!” and Maki Otsuki is in charge of the new ending song “Dear sunrise.” You can watch the two videos below:

Hiroshi Kitadani performed several of the biggest songs of ONE PIECE, and they were:

  • The iconic first theme song “We Are!”
  • The first opening for the post-timeskip part of the anime “We go!”
  • “We Can!” together with Kishidan
  • “OVER THE TOP” with music by Kohei Tanaka

On the other hand, Maki Otsuki was also in charge of several ending theme songs:

  • The first ending theme song “Memories”
  • The second ending theme song “RUN! RUN! RUN!”
  • The Heart of Gold TV special ending “Destiny”

The new songs were announced at December’s Jump Festa 2024 event, along with the voice actors for Vegapunk and his satellites. THE ONE PIECE remake by WIT STUDIO was also announced at the event.

ONE PIECE Episode 1089 & Chapter 1103 Release Date

Episode 1089 preview is available, and the anime will continue with the new arc on January 7. Meanwhile, the ONE PIECE manga will release chapter 1103 on Friday, January 5. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll, while you can catch up to the latest manga chapter for free on either the VIZ website or the MANGA Plus website. 

To make January even bigger for the ONE PIECE fans, the MONSTERS: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation prequel episode about Ryuma is coming to Netflix this month!
