The ONE PIECE made its debut on August 31, and it topped Netflix’s global English TV Ranking with 18.5 million total views, 140.1 million hours viewed and an average runtime of 7:34 hours. The adaptation is being praised as one of the best adaptations of a manga/anime ever, and it had almost 50 million more hours viewed than its first follower Who is Erin Carter?: Limited Series. The ranking is for the period of August 28-September 3, and you can see the top 10 shows:
The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. The creator, Eiichiro Oda, is also among the show’s executive producers.
