Overlord Season 4 Releases Illustration of Renner and Climb with Director's Comment for Final Episode

Overlord Season 4 ended with the 13th episode on September 27 and released an illustration of the series’ Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself and Climb drawn by the director Naoyuki Ito with his comment, which reveals why she danced and sang a song in the episode.

In the final episode titled “The Witch of the Falling Kingdom,” Re-Estize Kingdom was finally destroyed by Ainz Ooal Gown’s Sorcerer Kingdom, and it was unveiled that most of it was planned by the Princess of the fallen kingdom, Renner, who turned into a demon in the end. She was so delighted about her dream-come-true moment that she danced while singing an inserted song “fallen” by herself, which isn’t depicted in the light novel.

The newly released illustration shows the newly born demon Renner smiling with her beautiful long golden hair intact, but with small black wings and nails, wearing a black dress and hair ornament on the left side of her head, and facing on the opposite side of her bodyguard Climb who is fully armored with a long sword in his hands.

The picture also says the illustrator, Naoyuki Ito’s comment: “OVERLORD Ⅳ Thank you for watching Episode 13 “The Witch of the Falling Kingdom”. It’s the final episode for the fourth season. Renner-sama wished to dance and sing in the original novel, so we prepared the character song for her, recorded the motion capture, and had her enjoy dancing and singing to the fullest. I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone involved. Naoyuki Ito.
