ONE PIECE is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, with Toei Animation releasing a special video as part of the celebration. It includes some of the iconic scenes we’ve watched throughout the years, going chronologically from 1999 to 2024. You can also see the arcs in the right corner of the video, and the entire video lasts for about 8 minutes.
As part of the celebration, ONE PIECE is taking over Las Vegas until June 16. There is also the upcoming remake by WIT Studio, while the 2nd season of the live-action series is also in production and recently teased appeared the introduction of Mr. 3.
The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies in August 2022. The manga also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022. The anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is still going strong.
The manga currently has 1115 chapters, while the anime by Toei Animation is at 1108 episodes. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll and Netflix are streaming the anime. Crunchyroll describes the story:
