Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 anime revealed a character visual featuring Celia Clare ahead of the show’s October premiere. The anime previously revealed the first trailer, as well as a new key visual and cast. Akane Fujita voices Celia, and you can see the visual below.
An interview with Akane Fujita was also shared:
- Q: Reflecting on Celia’s role in the first season, what kind of character do you now think she is? Please tell us again about your impression of Celia.
A: She is a small and cute teacher! I definitely feel that Celia has become someone who represents a safe place for Rio, where he can feel at ease. - Q: Now that the second season is confirmed, what are your thoughts after completing the recording sessions?
A:I believe the viewers felt the same way, but the way the first season ended was like, “There’s more to come, right?!” That’s why I was really happy to finally be able to continue the story. While we did record some drama CDs and Waku Waku Magical Classroom sessions between the first and second seasons, the main story is where the true Celia resides (laughs), so I recorded seriously! - Q: What are the highlights of Celia in the second season?
A: Her outfit changes, so that’s one thing to look out for! As for the story, in the second half of episode 4, there are some emotional moments where you can catch a glimpse of the trust between Rio and Celia, as well as a bit of Celia’s family background, which I feel are key highlights for her.
Aguri Onishi will perform the opening theme song “Auftakt,” while Nanaka Suwa will perform the ending song “Haru Machi Uta.”
TMS Entertainment is returning to animate the sequel along with the main staff. It includes Osamu Yamasaki as the director and in charge of the series composition, Kyoko Yufu as the character designer and also chief animation director, and Yasuyuki Yamazaki in charge of the music.
