SHY Season 2 anime has delayed episode 6 (episode 18 overall) to August 12, with special programming quoted as the source. It is most likely to be due to the ongoing Paris Olympics, which has seen numerous other titles delaying episodes. Studio 8bit is animating the SHY sequel, which was announced immediately after the first one’s finale.

The anime is based on the SHY manga by Bukimi Miki, which has been serialized in the Weekly Shonen Champion since August 2019. Yen Press licensed the manga, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. They describe the story:
