Singer Airi Suzuki covered “The Blessing”, the opening theme song of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, which was originally performed in the anime by YOASOBI. Suzuki performed the song for the online show Oishi Masayoshi x Airi Suzuki no Anison Kamikyoku Cover Desho de Show!! which the singer and Masayoshi Oishi host. The show is available on Asashi Television’s YouTube Channel, Doga, Hajimete Mimashita.
Airi Suzuki is known as the featuring vocalist of Masayuki Suzuki’s “DADDY! DADDY! DO! feat. Airi Suzuki” in the second season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime. She also performed “Heart wa Oteage” as the ending theme song for Kaguya-sama: Love is War‘s third season.

The Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime’s non-credit opening video is available on Gundam’s official YouTube channel and has been viewed more than 2 million times. The original singer YOASOBI’s “The Blessing” is also available as a music video on her official YouTube channel and the video has surpassed 12 million views on the platform. The song’s single CD, which compiles the English version, was released on November 9.
Sunrise is producing the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime under Hiroshi Kobayashi’s direction, with Ichiro Okochi’s scripts. The anime’s broadcast schedule is split into two cours, and the first cour has been airing since October 2. The second cour is slated for April 2023.
