Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, the new Netflix animated series, revealed the first trailer and October 14 release date. The series previously confirmed Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher. It’s created by Ubisoft Film & Television and animation studios Sun Creature and Fost, with Guillaume Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daage as directors.

Kirby Howell-Baptiste was also announced as the voice of agent Zinnia McKenna. You can check watch the official teaser trailer below.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell – Animated Series Official Teaser Trailer | October 14 Release Date

Derek Kolstad (John Wick) is the head writer. Kolstad is also serving as an executive producer, along with Hélène Juguet, Hugo Revon, and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft.

Splinter Cell: Death Watch is based on the classic Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell video games. Developed by Ubisoft, the first game was released in 2002. The last installment was Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist from 2013, with the franchise also getting multiple novels and a movie adaptation that starred Tom Hardy as Sam Fisher. A remake of the first game is currently in development.

The story follows Sam Fisher, a highly trained secret operative of the NSA’s secret arm: Third Echelon, as he aims to infiltrate terrorists’ positions, acquire critical intelligence by any means necessary, execute with extreme prejudice, and escape with no trace.
