The upcoming Tales of Wedding Rings anime adaptation revealed a new character trailer and visual for Amber, who will be voiced by Mikako Komatsu. The anime is premiering in January of 2024, with Staple Entertainment as the animation studio and Takashi Naoya as the director.
In addition to Mikako Komatsu, who voices Amber the Dwarven princess, The Tales of the Wedding Rings cast also includes:
- Akari Kito as Hime
- Gen Sato as Haruto Sato
- Hitomi Ueda as Granat
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nephrites
- Ai Kakuma as Saphir
Tales of Wedding Rings anime is based on a manga by Maybe, currently serialized in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine. The manga began serialization in 2014 and currently has 13 volumes out. Yen Press licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
When Satou’s best friend, Hime, tells him that she’s moving, he decides to follow. After crashing her wedding in another world, he ends up as the groom when she suddenly kisses him! Prophecy states that her husband is destined to be the Ring King—a hero of immense power who will save the world from the Abyssal King! Is Satou up for the challenge, or is his new marriage going to end before it even begins?
