BLUE LOCK Season 2 revealed the preview for Episode 12, which teases the counterattack against the U-Japan team. The episode is titled “Flowers” and premieres on Saturday, December 21.
The anime will end next week with the double-episode finale. Studio 8bit is animating, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime with English subtitles. You can see the preview images and synopsis below.

Following Shido’s lead, Oliver Aiku enters the “FLOW” state. With his ability to read plays and react elevated by several levels, Aiku single-handedly shuts down all attacks from the Blue Lock Eleven. Inspired by his incredible performance, the Japan U-20 team begins a counterattack centered around Sae and Shido, aiming to deliver the final blow.

The anime revealed a key visual and trailer for the BLUE LOCK vs U-20 JAPAN arc/match, which has been the focus of the season.
Muneyuki Kaneshiro writes the BLUE LOCK manga, with art by Yusuke Nomura. Kodansha is publishing the manga in English. The story follows BLUE LOCK, the project to create the ultimate egoistical striker that will take Japan to a World Cup trophy.
We had the chance to interview Kazuki Ura (Isagi’s Japanese voice actor), Ryoya Arisawa (anime producer), and Megumu Tsuchiya (manga editor) at this year’s Anime Expo. We talked with them about working on the manga and anime series, the challenges they faced in creating the work loved by fans worldwide, as well as what to expect from the ongoing Season 2.
