The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor anime revealed its main trailer featuring the theme songs, along with the second key visual and additional voice cast members. Studio J.C. Staff is animating the show, with Kentaro Suzuki as the director.

The ending theme song will be “gradation” by Hanatan, while the main trailer features the opening theme song “Awaku Kasuka” by sajou no hana.

New cast additions include:

  • Ayumi Mano as Faris
  • Kaori Nazuka as Elincia
  • Makoto Furukawa as Listeard

Besides the director Kentaro Suzuki, the main anime staff also includes Sana Komatsu as the character designer and Atsuo Ishino in charge of the series composition. The previously announced voice cast includes:

  • Kikunousuke Toya as Hades Theos Rave
  • Shiori Izawa as Rave
  • Tatsumaru Tachibana as Sieg

It’s adapting the The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor light novel written by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by Mitsuya Fuji.

The story follows Jill, who is sentenced to death by her fiancé. She is then sent back 6 years in the past to her engagement party, where she proposes to Emperor Hadis, her former enemy who she knows is set to become evil in the following years. She fails to retract her proposal, but it’s already too late and she then decides she will change the course of history with Hadis.
