The Elusive Samurai anime returned with Episode 10 today, and they also revealed a character trailer for another one of Tokiyuki’s retainers, Genba Kazama. Aoi Yuki voices the mischievious Genba in the anime, and you can check out his trailer below.
Prior to Genba, character trailers were also revealed for Shizuku, Kojiro and Ayako. Studio CloverWorks is in charge of the animation, with Yuta Yamazaki as the director. The voice cast consists of:

- Yuichi Nakamura as Yorishige Suwa
- Hinaki Yano as Shizuku
- Mari Hino as Kojiro
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Ayako
- Aoi Yuki as Genba Kazama

- Katsuyuki Konishi as Takauji Ashikaga
Yusei Matsui, also known as the creator of The Assassination Classroom, writes and draws The Elusive Samurai. The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump since 2021, while Viz Media is publishing it in English.
The story follows Tokiyuki Hojo, who is set to avenge his family after Takauji Ashikaga betrays them. He is helped by the eccentric clairvoyant Yorishige Suwa, who has a mysterious divine power of precognition, albeit inconsistent. The boy now needs to gather loyal retainers for the prophesied battle against his nemesis.
