My Deer Friend Nokotan manga by Oshioshio got an anime adaptation that aired as part of the 2024 Summer season. The WIT Studio animated show focused on the life and times of Torako “Koshitan” Koshi, a former delinquent turned student president. Hubris comes before the fall, and Koshitan learned that lesson in the oddest way possible. Think her past is firmly behind her; she gets a rude awakening when a deer-human hybrid named Nokotan challenges her facade.
