Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku anime has a new trailer, as well as information on the show’s theme songs. The new trailer features the main characters, Kei, Amina, and Dojima, as well as the leader of the Takatsu-gumi, Takatsu Noriyuki, and Yu, Kei’s childhood friend. The anime is will premiere in October 2024.
The opening theme song will be performed by the singer-songwriter Masayoshi Oishi, while the ending theme song will be performed by the idol group Taiyo to Odore Tsukiyo ni Utae.
EAST FISH STUDIO is in charge of the animation, with Jun Hatori as the director. The Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku anime was announced back in January, while the main cast was revealed in May.

Money, women, organs. Kei, a high school boy, frequents the underground mahjong parlor teeming with desires, earning him the moniker ‘K of the ICE’ in the underworld due to his cold-hearted strategy and stylish gameplay. Rumors also circulate that he keeps a girl at his home.
Tohai is a Japanese manga by Koji Shinasaka. It was originally serialized in AKITASHOTEN’s Young Champion magazine, spanning over multiple series since June 2006. The latest installment is Tohai: Cold Girl, which has been serialized in the magazine since September 2021 and is currently ongoing. The franchise also got a live-action movie in 2013.
