Live action adaptation of Tokyo Revengers manga is getting a sequel movie in 2023. as announced earlier today. The first movie premiered on July 9 in Japan, after being delayed from the originally scheduled October 9, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Warner Bros. Japan is producing the movie and a trailer has been revealed:
The cast will return for the sequel. It includes:

- Nobuyuki Suzuki as Masataka Kiyomizu
- Hayato Isomura as Atsushi Sendo

- Ryō Yoshizawa as Manjiro Sano
- Mio Imada as Hinata Tachibana
- Gordon Maeda as Takashi Mitsuya
- Hiroya Shimizu as Shuji Hanma
- Kazuki Horike as Haruki Hayashida
- Yoshiki Minato as Nobutaka Osanai
The movie is based on a manga by Ken Wakui. The manga has been ongoing in the Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017. Kodansha is publishing it in English and describes the plot as:
Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a complete and total virgin … At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!! An anime adaptation by LIDEN FILMS aired throughout the Spring and Summer 2022 anime seasons. The second season is also set for 2023.
