Events in Genshin Impact 2.1 Version

Moonlight Merriment event

Players who enjoy finding chests are in for a treat. A whole event focused on finding chests is here.

Passage of Clouds and Stars Login Event

The popular login event is finally back. It will last for 10 days and offer generous rewards.

Initial Top-Up Bonus Reset

In addition to the login event, players will be able to get double the amount of purchased crystals, even if they previously bought bundles. More details about the Crystal Top-Up:

Hyakkunin Ikki

A free-for-all fighting tournament will focus on creating an optimal team, which will then have to defeat enemies during a given time.

Spectral Secrets

An event that is based around expeditions appears to be similar to the one with Geovishaps from earlier this year.

Lunar Realm Event

The event will be located in Inazuma and will focus on catching on a special, legendary fish called Lunar Leviathan. More on the fishing system below.

Fishing System

If you ever run out of things to do, you’ll be able to fish. The system will use bait and a fishing rod, and it seems like seasoned Minecraft/Stardew Valley players probably won’t have trouble with it. Fish can be used in recipes and exchanged for rewards. Special kinds of fish can be caught and kept as pets in the Serenitea Pot.

Serenitea Pot

The Pot is also getting some adjustments. Duplicate furnishings in the same area will now take up less load, which is great news especially for those players with weaker gaming systems.

Genshin Impact Anniversary Celebration

Engraved Wishes Web-Event

Players can submit wishes which will be engraved in a 6ft 5′ Paimon statue, which will consist out of approximately 50,000 blocks.

Online Concert

An online event that will feature musicians from the US, Belgium and South Korea who will be playing their covers of Genshin Impact music. Inazuma OST is also coming, in a collab with HoyoMix.

Aloy

Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn is making her way to Genshin Impact. Her kit was also introduced in the stream and she’ll be an exclusive, free 5* character for players on Play Station 4 and 5 in the 2.1 version. Everyone else will get her in the 2.2 version. PSN players will also get a special bow.

You can watch the full stream below:

And that’s it for the upcoming Genshin Impact 2.1 update. The anniversary update is less than 2 weeks away when the Yoimiya banner ends, and from the looks of it, there is a lot in store for the players. Are you planning on pulling for any of the characters?
