Grand Blue Manga Delayed Indefinitely Due To Author's Health

Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka’s comedic Slice of Life manga “Grand Blue” will be delayed. It is announced on an official twitter account that it will not be released on Thursday issue of good! Afternoon magazine. It stated that the reason behind this was the suffering of its author, Kenji Inoue from low back pain because of overwork. It is posted that the manga will be on a hiatus until the author recovers from it.

On April 2014, Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka began creating Grand Blue is a manga series. Kodansha’s seinen magazine serialized it, compiling 16 volumes as of November 2020. On February 16, 2021, volume 12 of the manga will be released digitally. A printed copy will be release on March 2021. On July 2018, Zero-G studios produced an anime adaptation of the Manga. On August 2020, Warner Bros. Japan released a live-action of it.

The Grand Blue Manga delay is sure to make the fans sad. The health of the author, however, takes the highest priority, and we hope he’ll get well soon.
