Please Put Them On, Takamine-san is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, with a teaser visual and website revealed. There are no details about the format or staff involved. The romantic comedy manga has been ongoing since 2019, and the teaser visual features the titular protagonist, Takane Takamine-san.
Yuichi Hiiragi writes and draws the Please Put Them On, Takamine-san (Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san) manga. It is serialized by Square Enix in their Monthly Gangan Joker magazine, with 8 volumes released as of December 2023. Volume 9 is scheduled to release on August 21 this year. Yen Press licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
Shirota’s had more than enough time to adjust to life as Takamine’s closet by now, but when Akanishi, the school’s most popular senior, approaches her and asks her out, he can’t help being jealous! He tries to calm down, but after he overhears Akanishi discussing his unsavory plans to pick up Takamine, he starts to panic, worried that Takamine will fall prey to his new rival’s charms…
