Figuring out a topic of conversation for a first date is always a contentious issue. That’s why movie dates are so popular. The Cinemart Shinjuku x Gushing Over Magical Girls special screening committee are well aware of this fact. As to commemorate the conclusion of the anime’s broadcast and the release of blue-ray, Cinemart Shinjuku x Gushing Over Magical Girls will be hosting a special cinema screening of three completely uncensored episodes as well as a presentation by Yuka Aisaka (Loco Musica) and Minami Tsuda (Leberblume) on March 17th.
Airing some of the series’ most raunchy episodes (episodes 7, 9, and 10), buying a ticket, and heading to a movie date with your special someone will give you a proper chance at either getting slapped in the face for being so crude, or you’ll have a solid conversation on all things lewd, which might help you do two-person push-ups later that night.
Tickets can be reserved online or bought at the counter for the low price of ¥3000 (~ 20 USD). It’s worth noting that if you attend, you automatically agree to Japan’s portrait usage. So, by attending media houses, bloggers and news outlets may take and spread your picture without your written consent. So, think about that when you’re salivating over Loco Musica’s sweater stretchers or Magia Azure’s party pillows.
Currently airing in its ‘slightly censored version’ (which already leaves little to the imagination… Twitter be damned) on HIDIVE, Gushing Over Magical Girls is a story about why sexual education is a must a school. People think if you don’t teach people about sex, they’ll figure it out or get into it at a later age, but the reality is that much like what happens to Utena in this show.
Once nature calls and you have a taste of what you like and you don’t have any healthy barriers set up, you usually go off the deep end.
Gushing Over Magical Girls covers the life and times of part-time sex pest Utena Hiiragi, who mistakenly believes she has gotten the opportunity to be a magical girl. Which, had it been true, would have been her wildest dream come true. But instead, she’s transformed into a villain and forced to fight the magical girls which she so loves.
Yet, as she fights her idols, she realizes that tormenting and assailing magical girls is the best way to rejuvenate the soul. Healthy living and a clean heart won’t get Utena to 100, but going “booty booty booty rocking everywhere” while spanking magical girl butt like they’re Hiroshima and she’s Little Boy will. While definitely a show that’s not for the hoi polli, it’s a must-watch for ecchi lovers and off-brand connoisseurs.
