Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime announced on Tuesday that voice actor Yuichi Nakamura will join the series as Sein, a priest who uses advanced healing magic. He once dreamed of becoming an adventurer with his best friend, but gave up the idea of setting out on a journey due to certain circumstances. Although he is a priest, he likes to drink, smoke, and gamble. The character is set to appear in the 13th episode of the series which premieres on Friday, December 1.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime is based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) is animating with Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) as director, Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as the character designer.
Yuichi Nakamura is a well-known voice actor who provided the voice for popular roles such as Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail, Hotaro Oreki from Hyouka, Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad, Shigure Sohma from Fruits Basket, Guren Ichinose from Seraph of the End, Bruno Bucciarati from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures Part 5, and Hawks from My Hero Academia.
