Kaiju No. 8 episode 12 is slated to premiere this Saturday and, to prepare for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable finale, a preview was revealed. The revelation of Kafka’s secret shook everyone up in last week’s episode and now it’s time to see where his story will lead.
Production I.G is animating one of the most-anticipated adaptations of the Spring 2024 anime season. Tomomi Kamiya and Shigeyuki Miya are directing the series, with Ichiro Okuchi on the series composition. Tetsuya Nishio is credited as a character designer, while Mahiro Maeda and Khara Studio are signing off on creature designs.
Crunchyroll describes the plot as:
In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.
New episodes of anime are streaming on Crunchyroll and Twitter/X simultaneously with the Japanese broadcast and are later available on Crunchyroll.
