Monogatari anime revealed a character trailer for Deishu Kaiki (voiced by Shin-ichiro Miki) ahead of the premiere of the Off and Monster Season on July 6. The gloomy conman is voiced by Shinichiro Miki and the trailer shows off his best scenes so far:
Earlier today, a new trailer for Monogatari: Off & Monster Season covering Nademonogatari was revealed. It features the “caramel ribbon cursetard” opening theme song by Nadeko Sengoku (Kana Hanazawa) and Yotsugi Ononoki (Saori Hayami)
Monogatari is a light novel series written by Nisi Oisin and illustrated by Vofan. The series started serialization in 2006 and although volumes cover different arcs, the titles of each one end with -monogatari. Bakemonogatari is a manga adaptation of the light novel, illustrated by Oh! Great. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2018. Deishu Kaiki is the narrator of the Koimonogatari story, covered in the second season of the TV anime.
Off-Season is a collection of side stories focusing on different characters. It consists of four arcs: Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatari. Overall, it is the fourth saga in the novel series. In addition to Nademonogatari, the upcoming season will also cover Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, and Shinobumonogatari. Meanwhile, Monster Season tells the story of Koyomi Araragi’s university life in six arcs.
