The Team Up Missions manga debuted in July 2019 and follows the cast of My Hero Academia as they partner with pro heroes and fellow students, even ones from different schools, giving rise to exciting and unpredictable scenarios. The series celebrated the release of its 7th volume in December while Akiyama passed 100k followers on X in January. The series ended in Saikyo Jump magazine in January this year, with the final Volume 8’s release date to be confirmed.

Another My Hero Academia spinoff series, Vigilantes by Hideyuki Furuhashi (story) and Betten Court (art), is set to receive an anime adaptation this April. Studio Bones spun off its animation production department to form the new wholly-owned Bones Film subsidiary, with Vigilantes set to be its first title. You can check out the latest trailer and new character visuals here.

My Hero Academia Season 8 will premiere in Fall 2025 and conclude the adaptation of the main manga by Kohei Horikoshi.

VIZ licensed My Hero Academia: Team Up Missions in North America. It describes Volume 1:
Midoriya is excited for his first team-up mission until he learns that his team includes the explosive Bakugo. The pro hero they’ve been matched with is also a real wild card. Can this makeshift team cooperate, or will Midoriya’s first mission be his last?
