My Hero Academia: You're Next Arrives to Netflix on April 20

My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie is officially coming to Netflix on April 20, including the US, Canada and more unspecified regions.

The movie premiered in Japan on August 2, and it had the biggest opening for the franchise. It premiered in North America and worldwide in October of the same year. The Blu-ray release came out in Japan in February.

My Hero Academia: You’re Next Anime Visual | Arrives to Netflix on April 20

Kohei Horikoshi drew the My Hero Academia manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 until August 2024. The series ended after a 10-year run, getting numerous illustrations and messages for the conclusion.

The manga received its first anime adaptation by studio BONES in 2016. It received 6 more seasons in the following years, with Season 7 concluding on October 12, 2024. You can read our review of the finale, as well as one of the entire season.

My Hero Academia Season 8 was officially announced immediately after the last episode, and it was confirmed to be the final one. The story left off right as the fights between All For One/One For All and Deku/Shigaraki got to their climaxes. Crunchyroll will stream the last season in October.

In the meantime, you can check out the ongoing My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off anime, which is set 5 years before the events of the main one.
