My Hero Academia: You're Next to Premiere Early at Beyond Fest in the US

My Hero Academia: You’re Next will have an early screening in the US during the Beyond Fest, attended by Daiki Yamashita and Kenta Miyake, who voice Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and All Might. The screening will take place on Sunday, October 6th, at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

Stacy Burt, the Director of Marketing at Toho International, commented on the announcement:
“The North American release for My Hero Academia: You’re Next is right around the corner, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Beyond Fest to welcome fans and celebrate the film in style at the beautiful Egyptian Theater. The combination of action and story are perfect for the big screen. Attendees who get to experience it first at Beyond Fest are in for a treat.”

Beyond Fest is a film festival created in partnership with American Cinematheque to help serve the film community in Los Angeles. It is known as the highest-attended genre film festival in the U.S. Fans can purchase tickets for the special screening at the America Cinematheque website. My Hero Academia is a manga series created by Kohei Hirokoshi. It was serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014. The manga ended in August of this year with an announcement of a global character poll. The series has inspired an anime adaptation produced by Studio Bones and four anime films, including the upcoming film, You’re Next. The anime has aired six seasons since its first airing in 2016. The seventh season is currently ongoing.

The movie premiered in Japan this August. My Hero Academia: It is coming to US and Canada on October 11 with both English subtitles and English dub.
