Studio OLM will be animating an original anime titled Pon no Michi, and it has received a visual and trailer ahead of its January 2024 premiere. The anime will be directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fire Force Season 2, Wave, Listen to Me!), while the characters were drawn by The Quintessential Quintuplets Negi Haruba. The main voice cast includes Kaori Maeda as Nashiko Jippensha, Iori Saeki as Pai Kawahigashi, Shion Wakayama as Izumi Tokutom and Yui Kondo as Riche Hayashi. You can check out the first teaser visual for the Pon no Michi anime:
Kenji Ota is adapting the character designs for the anime, while Emi Kadono is the color designer. Scott MacDonald is the art director, while Takahashi Go is the sound director. The anime will show the daily life of the high school girls living in Onomich, and is shortly described:
Set in the picturesque streets, historic shrines and temples, beautiful sea, and rich nature of Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, the characters’ slow but sparkling days begin.
