Part 2 of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom anime has released the main trailer after a series of short PVs in the past 6 weeks. Part 2 of the anime begins airing on January 8, 2022.

The video features the anime’s opening song “REAL EYES” by Inori Minase (Liscia Elfrieden). Yusuke Kobayashi (Souma Kazuya), Ikumi Hasegawa (Aisha Udgard), Reina Ueda (Juna Doma), Kazuyuki Okitsu (Hakuya Kuonmin), Moeka Kishimoto (Tomoe Inui), Masaaki Mizunaka (Poncho Panna Cotta), Toshiko Kanemoto (Maria Euphoria), Yui Ishikawa (Jeanne Euphoria), and M·A·O (Roroa Amidonia) are also returning as the voice of the show’s main characters.

The show aired in the Summer 2021 anime season and had a total of 13 episodes. Part 2 was announced right after the end of the 13th episode on September 26, 2021. Takashi Watanabe (Shakugan no Shana) directed part 1, while J.C. Staff (Shokugeki no Soma) animated it. The same studio and director will also work on the anime’s part 2.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is a Japanese light novel series by Dojyomaru, with Fuyuyuki’sillustrations. Overlap is serializing the light novel since May 2016, and it currently has 15 volumes available. The same publisher is also publishing a manga adaptation Satoshi Ueda, which currently has 7 volumes in circulation.
