Red Cat Ramen Season 2 (also titled Ramen Akaneko) was announced during Jump Festa ’25. The announcement came during the series’ panel at the 10th Anniversary Stage featuring guest voice actress Kurumi Orihara and voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda.
Hisatoshi Shimizu directed the first season of Red Cat Ramen, which ran for a total of 12 episodes from July to September this year. Studio E&H production animated the first season. Toru Kubo handled the script and series composition while Michinori Chiba was in charge of the character designs. Hirotaka Matsuoka composed the music.
Kurumi Orihara made her voice acting main role debut as Tamako Yashiro. She was joined by a stellar supporting cast that included Kenjiro Tsuda as Bunzo, Michiyo Murase as Sabu, Saori Hayami as Krishna, Rie Kugimiya as Hana, and Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasaki.

Ramen Akaneko Manga
The anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Angyaman. The series currently have nine volumes out with Volume 10 set to release on February 4, 2025. It is currently being published in English digitally on the Manga Plus app.
Crunchyroll describes the story as such:
Welcome to Ramen Akaneko, a restaurant run solely by cats. That is, until a human named Tamako Yashiro interviews for a job. Oddly enough, her candor about being a dog person lands her the job. This is a beautiful story of human and feline relationships woven through the many customers who visit Ramen Akaneko. Get ready for an extra helping of heartfelt moments that warm the body and soul.
