The Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits (Chichi wa Eiyuu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha) light novel series is getting an anime adaptation, according to an announcement from the official X (Twitter) account of Kadokawa Books.
The Chichi wa Eiyuu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha (Father is a Hero, Mother a Spirit, Me, Their Daughter Am a Reincarnator) is written by Matsuura and illustrated by keepout. It first started as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016 before Kadokawa Books acquired the title and released the first volume in March 2018. The light novel ended serialization in October 2022 with 9 volumes out. A manga adaptation with art by Yutaka Ohori currently has 10 volumes out.
Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits follows the story of a unique family with unusual quirks. They are in dire need of reconnecting old ties to the Vankreift household to defend their relatives’ honor. Moreover, the main character, an eight-year-old girl named Ellen, has power over the elements and can transform her surroundings by manipulating the elements of the periodic table. She also has a great amount of scientific knowledge due to being a scientist in her past life.
MangaUP is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
“I became the spirit of elements when I reincarnated?!” Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, is the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, is the primordial queen and ruler of all spirits. Furthermore, she herself has the overpowered ability to manipulate the elements. While looking absolutely adorable, this perfect little girl will fall back on her past life’s knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
