Set Your Hearts Ablaze at the Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2024

Anime and Cosplay Expo is returning for another fun-filled convention experience on July 20-21, 2024. After a successful summer festival that was FanFes 2024, event organizer Cosplay.ph is igniting the flames of passionate cosplay adventures in this rainy season. Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2024, which is themed as “Chapter of Flames,” is the third event in the Cosplay Mania series. Cosplay.ph describes the event:

United to set hearts ablaze to etch an intensive, fun-filled convention experience, Anime and
Cosplay Expo is returning on July 20-21, 2024! Weave the stories of passionate cosplay adventures and imagine an epic symposium of fandoms, engulfing stage performances, hundreds of exhibits, and a sneak peek into Cosplay Mania and Anisong Artistes in the “Chapter of Flames” at the Function Rooms 4-5 of SMX Convention Center Manila.

As the third installment of the “Chronicles of Cosmania” series this year, ACX has long been
committed to giving something back to its patrons with a promise of a joyous gathering since its
humble beginning in 2016.

What to Expect From ACX 2024

Aside from nurturing an environment where convention-goers can truly exhibit their passion for anime and cosplay, ACX also lays out stage activities where contestants can unleash their fiery performances. These include Solo Cosplay Catwalk, Cosplay Karaoke Encore, and Cosplay’s Got Talent – where winners can get a front-act performance opportunity for the upcoming JAM Concert. Of course, Yoshinoya’s Gyudon Eating Contest will also be there to fire up the stage, and the Cosplanomicon – where everyone can etch their thoughts.

The new activities that are in the lineup for ACX 2024 are Shadow Play, which will test your skill in recognizing familiar anime characters, and Don’t Skip Intro, which will challenge your memory in remembering different anime soundtracks.

Convention-goers can also challenge themselves (and their wallets) to the ever-so-exciting Cosplay Auction. Aside from the stage, con-goers can indulge in as much merchandise as they want since the convention will also be filled with hobby exhibits, lifestyle booths, and food stalls. ACX also nurtures an environment that promotes our talented local artists at the FanFair Alley.

Fiery Guests From Afar

Lastly, ACX 2024 welcomes two fiery cosplayers who come all the way from Thailand: Cos AIM and Kurumin-san. They are known for their extreme and amazing portrayal of many beloved characters from different anime and games. Fans can meet and learn more about their cosplay icons and their passions.
