Spy x Family is currently trending on Twitter in the United States, with over 230 thousand tweets, following the exciting finale of the first cour of the anime and the October announcement for the second cour. In addition to the trending achievement, Spy x Family now has its own Twitter emoji, the so-called hashflag, of Anya. All Twitter users can get little Anya to show up by using the #SPY_FAMILY hashtag.
After the cour finale, Spy x Family fans took to Twitter to share gifs, favorite moments, fan art, and commentary about the series. The anime was well-received by fans all over the world and even ranked in the top 5 in every week of the Spring 2022 anime season in Anime Corner’s polls. Check out the PV for the second cour:
The official Twitter account of the Spy x Family anime recently celebrated a milestone – half a million followers. Although the number was achieved in April, a special celebratory illustration by animator Kyoji Asano was shared earlier this month.
WIT Studio and CloverWorks are animating the adaptation of Tatsuya Endo’s manga. The anime will have a total of 25 episodes, meaning 13 are left for the second cour. Crunchyroll has been streaming the anime this season. The synopsis is described as:
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin, and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
